At a young age, my teachers told me that I was a natural storyteller (although I think they were referring to how inventive my excuses were for not doing homework). Today, I work as a writer in both the creative world and the digital marketing world.
Creative writing
I received my undergraduate degree in 2006 with a double major in English and Screenwriting from the University of Cape Town. The following year, I did my BA Honours in Film Production. Since then, I have been working as a writer in the following fields:

- Ghostwriter
- Script consultant
In 2019, I received a Standard Bank Ovation Award from the National Arts Festival in South Africa for Your Perfect Life. I co-wrote the play, as well as performed in it. We went on to receive a second Standard Bank Ovation Award for the production in 2021.
Content marketing
I am a senior digital marketing content specialist and have over 10 years’ experience. I have worked in marketing, entertainment and publishing roles during my career. After over a decade of writing and editing for various industries, I can confidently say I am an adaptable, creative writer who loves to take on new challenges.
During my time working with marketing agencies, I have managed teams of writers, designers, photographers and videographers to ensure that the content is executed correctly and that deadlines are met. My skills include:
